Who we are

The Mathtrace app and this website are operated by Petr Kučera, Company ID (IČO) 67582443, Czech Republic, who is the controller of your personal data. Contact: support@mathtrace.app.

In short

What the app processes

Why and on what legal basis

To provide the service you ask for – recognizing and solving a problem (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – and for our legitimate interest in running the app securely and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who else processes the data

We use these providers, who process data only on our behalf:

Transfers outside the EU rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell or share data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Photos aren't stored. Problems and their solutions are kept as long as they're useful for running and improving the app – they don't identify anyone. Operational logs are kept for a short time by the hosting providers.

This website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Cloudflare processes the IP address of each visit in order to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.

Children

Mathtrace is intended for secondary school and university students and adults. Younger children should use it with a parent's consent. We don't knowingly collect personal data about children.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing and to data portability. Because we don't link data to people, we may not be able to find yours without more details – please tell us what you entered and when. Write to support@mathtrace.app.

You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz), or the authority in your own country.
